Kosciusko County

Kosciusko County is located in Northeastern Indiana, just West of Fort Wayne. The county was named after Polish nobleman, Thaddeus Kosciuszko, Revolutionary War Aid to General George Washington.  Since Warsaw was the capital of Poland, that was the name given to the County Seat.  It is an agricultural County with over 100 lakes.  The city of Mentone has a huge concrete egg paying homage to the Chicken and Egg industry which along with Maple Leaf Farms, produces 80% of the Ducklings produced in the United  States.  The world’s largest Bio-diesel fuel plant is located in Claypool.
