Pixels and Dots

What is a 'Pixel', anyway?
Do I really need to know?

Pixels are the Basic Building Block
of every Photograph.  We
'break down' images to show
exactly how they are made.

We show, by example in these
slides, the Image and break it
down to the individual pixels and
the numeric value that describes
an individual pixel.  By 'locking onto'
an individual pixel, we show what
happens when you lighten or darken
an image and when you change the
White Balance of the Image.

Do you shoot in .RAW or .JPG?

We explain how the Image
Formats work and what effect
they have on the quality of
your finished Photograph.

Image Size, Document Size, Pixel
Dimensions, and Resolution
are a complex area of understanding
photography, but we make it easy
to grasp the concepts by showing
many examples in our
Powerpoint Program.
